Dock pudding : Recipe



Dock pudding is traditionally served with a full English breakfast, or at least with bacon, fried tomatoes, sausages, and black pudding

Ingredients

Method

  1. Wash and clean the dock leaves and remove the stalks
  2. Wash and clean the nettles
  3. Chop the onions
  4. Fry the vegetables in the butter until tender
  5. Add the oatmeal and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring to prevent the mixture from sticking, burning or going lumpy
The pudding is then ready for eating or for storing in a sealed container
