King Cross Methodist New Connexion Sunday SchoolRef 18-744
Aka King Cross Wesleyan Sunday School. The Sunday School for King Cross Methodist New Connexion Chapel opened on 5th November 1857 It replaced the Gainest Cottage Sunday School.

It stood to the south of the Chapel.

The School became too small and was enlarged in 1870.

In the storm of 22nd December 1894, the front and a side wall of the School gave way and the building became unsafe.

A new School was begun in May 1904. This was designed by A. G. Dalzell and opened on Whit Tuesday 1905.
