In his will [dated 29th December 1581], he made bequests to
- My sister Margaret Otes, wife of John Otes of Whytley [20s],
- Margaret & Sebell Otes daughters of John Otes [5s each],
- Two sons of William Parkinson deceased [£4] (which I owe them, when they come of age),
- The residue to my wife Margaret
