Grant by John Kyrkeby of Cotenesse, Richard Dayuyll and Hugh de Horsyngton of Athelyngflete to Robert Cussette of Redeness [Reedness], of a messuage 17 acres of land with appurtenances in the vill and territory of Redeness of which 10 acres formerly belonged to Thomas Bekyngham of Redeness and the other 7 acres to William Altofts of the same vill to hold to Robert and the heirs of his body, etc.

Witnesses: Thomas Aung' of Redenesse, Roger Stanfeld of the same, William Aung', Thomas de Halton, Robert Aung' of the same. At Redenesse.

1391. Cause Papers in the Diocesan Courts of the Archbishop of York.

Case: Violation of church rights (provision of clergy). Number of plaintiffs including Roger Stansfeld.

1394. De Plenaria Remissione (concerning absolute forgiveness). [Indults to the underwritten persons that the confessor of their choice may give them, being penitent and having confessed, plenary remission once only in the article of death; with the usual safeguards].

List includes: Nov. Roger de Stansfeld, nobleman, donsel, of the diocese of York. Alice wife of the same, noblewoman, of the same diocese.
